‘UST Industry-University Cooperation Foundation’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘UST’) protects customers’ personal information and complies with the ‘Act On Promotion Of Information And Communications Network Utilization And Information Protection.’ The center informs through this Privacy Policy of the purpose and method of using the personal information provided by customers and of what measures are being taken to protect personal information. UST will inform through website notices (or individual notices) when revising the Privacy Policy.

UST provides various employment-related information services to Users, and Users may use more convenient services and information through the personal information they provide. Personal information provided to UST will be used for the following purposes:
- Purpose of providing the membership service and Identity verification and user identification
- Name, date of birth, ID, password, password confirmation, etc.
- Purpose of employment activities such as resume registration and job application
- Contact information, e-mail address, address, photo, job search conditions, career details, academic background, skills, foreign language proficiency, personal statement, etc.
- Purpose of securing smooth communication channels, introducing and guiding the latest information, and providing customized employment information
- Homepage, e-mail address, e-mail reception setting, contact information
- Purpose of utilization for service development and marketing/advertising
- Provision of customized service, service information and recommendation, Identification statistics and access frequency for service improvement and new service development, advertisement placement according to statistical characteristics, provision of event information and opportunities to participate, and statistical analysis to identify employment and employment trends

- Required items: name, date of birth, mobile phone number, e-mail, desired salary, desired place of work, desired employment type
- Optional items: photo, academic record, degree, nationality, visa, place of residence, academic background, career, skills, foreign language proficiency, qualification/license, thesis/research, patent, personal statement, portfolio
- The following information may be automatically generated and collected during service use or business processing.
- IP address, cookie, date and time of visit, service use record, bad use record, period of retention and use of personal information
- Member's personal information is destroyed when the purpose of collecting or receiving personal information is achieved as follows:
- In the case of membership registration information, when membership is withdrawn or expelled from membership, however, the case which it is obligated to preserve the information in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations is excluded

- Retention of records on consumer complaints or dispute handling: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
- Retention of records related to identity verification: 6 months (Act On Promotion Of Information And Communications Network Utilization And Information Protection)
- Retention of records on visits: 3 months (Protection Of Communications Secrets Act)
